Swimmers Forever

Annual Report to Musselshell Valley Community Foundation 2016

January, 2017

The Swimmers Forever Committee was formed in February, 2016 for the purpose of renovating and reopening the indoor pool at the Roundup Community Center. The committee was very fortunate and grateful to receive a grant from the Musselshell Valley Community Foundation (MVCF) to help with the expense of a feasibility study. Also, MVCF agreed to act as our fiscal sponsor which provides tax-free deductions to the Swimmers Forever account.

The feasibility study was completed in December, 2016 by Interstate Engineering of Billings, MT. The Swimmers Forever committee is now working to determine a budget for operating and maintaining the pool. We do believe that if the sustainability of the pool is within our grasp, we are hopeful, with the help of voluntary community members, to renovate the pool for $300,000.00 or less.

Thank you MVCF for your belief and help with our mission. Meet you at the swimming pool!!
